I started my work as conductor and musical director of the Grange School Band Concert in 2002. In that position I organized one concert per term presenting concerts bands from year 7 to year 13 during eight years. Also I created the jazz band and the school saxophone quartet. We had regular concerts for the Association of British Schools in Chile (ABSCH) musical events and internal concerts. Also we performed in three opportunities at the International Festival of Youth Orchestras in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I worked at the Grange School until before moving to the UK in August 2010.
Since October 2013 I have been working as the Assistant Director of The University of York Jazz Orchestra. In that position I am in charge of conducting the Autumn and Spring concert of the University Jazz Orchestra. In the first concert (Dec, 2013) I arranged and conducted a programme of Charles Mingus' music. In the second, I conducted a programme of new compositions from York music students. The first concert of this season 2014-15 was focused on the music of contemporary jazz composers Nikki Iles (UK) and Maria Schneider (USA). The next one will be focused on the music of American jazz pianist Horace Silver at The Basement, York on 20th February 2015 .
